"I reported some abuse and they..."
I reported some abuse and they did get back to me, so I’ll give them credit for that. The follow-up just felt kinda slow, and it wasn’t super clear what was actually being done. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but I was hoping for firmer action and better updates along the way.

"Marketplace is a bit disappointing"
I was hoping the marketplace would be smoother, but it feels kind of clunky to use. The search works fine for the most part, but offers take longer than expected, which gets frustrating quickly.

"Namesilo API has been solid for managing my domains"
I’ve been using the NameSilo API for a while now to handle my domains and DNS settings, and it’s been smooth overall. I’m always a bit careful with anything that touches my domains, so I made sure to keep my API access locked down and only use what I actually need. The setup was straightforward, and the API calls are simple enough once you get going. I haven’t run into any random errors or downtime so far, which is a big plus. The docs could be a little clearer in a few places, but it still does the job and saves me a decent amount of time.
"Decent reseller setup, but could use more flexibility"
The reseller setup works fine overall, like I was able to get things going without much trouble. But then I started messing with the custom options and, yeah, they feel a bit limited sometimes. It’s not bad, and the basics are there, but I kept running into little moments where I wished there was just more control or a few extra settings.

"I canceled my service and, the refund came..."
I canceled my service and, the refund came through quickly. Support was fine too, no real drama on my end. I’m not sure if I just got lucky or if that’s the usual experience, so I’d probably only recommend it if your refund process is just as smooth as mine was.
"Good first impression overall"
My first impression was that it worked well right out of the box. After using it a bit more, I’d say it mostly does what I need, with just a few small moments where it could be better. Overall, I’m satisfied with it
"Parking payout was better than I expected"
I moved a few of my parked domains over to NameSilo just to test it out, the earnings have been better than I thought they’d be for domains that barely get any traffic??
Setup was straightforward, no confusing steps or anything like that. I also like being able to check the parking stats without hunting all over the place. The payouts aren’t massive, but hey, it’s extra money from domains I wasn’t using anyway, so why not??

"Solid reminders without the noise"
I mostly use NameSilo for my domains, and the thing I appreciate most is the notifications. Like, they show up early enough that I’m not scrambling at the last second, and then they remind me again before anything actually important happens, which is exactly what I need because I will absolutely forget otherwise. But they’re also not blasting me with random spammy emails every day, which is nice. It’s just simple, clear, no surprises, and for a domain company that’s basically all I’m looking for.

I got my domain set up fast, and the price was kinda reasonable too. Overall, no complaints...

"I’ve been using NameSilo mainly because they seem..."
I’ve been using NameSilo mainly because they seem to have a ton of TLDs available. At least, compared to the other sites I checked, I found a few domain endings there that I couldn’t find elsewhere. The search is quick, and the pricing looks clear enough to me, unless I’m missing something. Overall, I’m happy with it so far

"Bulk domain management could be smoother"
The bulk tools get the job done, I guess, but editing a bunch of domains still feels more awkward than it should. The pricing is fine, so no complaints there, but the filters and checkout process feel like they haven’t really been given much attention. It works, just not as smoothly as I’d hoped...

"Using Namesilo kind of reminded me of the…"
Using NameSilo kind of reminded me of the early days when I first started buying domains, simple, practical, and not overly flashy. I was able to search for domains and manage my settings without much hassle, and most pages loaded quickly. The only thing that stood out is that the design feels a bit old, and a few menus took me a moment to track down. Still, it gets the job done reliably, and overall I’d give it 4 stars...

"Whois privacy was a little confusing"
I went with NameSilo mainly because of the privacy options, but the weird part is the Whois privacy setup still felt more confusing than I expected. I did get it working in the end, but support took a while to reply and the whole process just wasn’t as smooth as I hoped...

"Renewals are painless"
I mostly use NameSilo for domain renewals, which is kind of the boring part of owning domains but also the part you really don’t want to mess up. The renewal page is clear enough, and I was able to find the auto-renew settings without digging around forever. I did have a small “wait, what does this setting do?” moment at first, but once I clicked around a bit it made sense. Prices seem reasonable too. Overall, it’s been easy to manage and I haven’t had any renewal headaches.

"Finally an SSL setup that didn’t make me feel clueless"
I already had my domain with NameSilo, so I figured I’d try getting the SSL there too, mostly because I didn’t want to get bounced around between different sites again. Usually this kind of stuff makes me feel like I’m the only person who can’t figure it out, but their certificate options were actually straightforward. The price seemed fair, checkout was easy, and I managed to get it installed without too much trouble, even though I’m definitely not super technical. I did have to lean on the support page a bit, but at least it explained enough to get me through it. Overall, I’m happy with how it went.

"Domain transfer worked out okay"
I moved a domain over to NameSilo and it did go through in the end, so no big complaints there. The whole process was a little confusing at first though, and I wasnt totally sure what step I was on. The emails took a bit to show up too, so I ended up checking the status myself a few times. Overall it was fine, just not exactly the smoothest experiance

"Renewal Fees Caught Me Off Guard"
The regular charges were fine and pretty much what I expected, but the renewal fees came as a surprise. It felt like something that could’ve been preventable with a clearer heads-up beforehand.

"Email forwarding keeps acting up"
Email forwarding works fine some days, but then it randomly breaks and I’m stuck checking what went wrong again. I reached out to support, but it took a while to hear back, and I’m just tired of having to chase fixes for something that should be reliable in the first place.
"Just Wasn’t Reliable for Me"
I really wanted this to work, but it just wasn’t reliable in my experience. One day it seemed fine, and the next it would act up or not do what I needed. After a while I was just like, give me a break. I don’t want to have to keep messing with something that’s supposed to make things easier...

The prices are good overall. I don’t have a ton of patience for hunting around and comparing every little thing, so it was nice to see the prices were reasonable without having to overthink it...
